A song review of "Matthew 5(Shine)" – Bible in Song by "Project of Love".
God is not a secret to be kept.
Have you ever heard a Bible verse turned into a song? Sure, there are plenty out there, but this one sticks. And not just because it’s catchy. It’s because the message is one that every believer in Jesus Christ needs to remember and actually live out. That’s exactly what happens with Matthew 5 – Bible in Song by Project of Love.
It’s one of those songs that doesn’t just sound good. It gently wraps you in truth. It’s scripture, plain and simple, sung in a way that feels honest, and timeless.
I love this song because:
-It’s straight from Scripture,
-It’s easy to listen to,
-It helps you remember Matthew 5, and it makes you curious enough to open your Bible and read more.
The thing I really love about Project of Love as a band is how they weave Scripture into their songs so gently that it just sits in your heart and spirit. Before long, you’re not only humming along, you’re going back to your Bible with fresh eyes and an open heart.
God is not a secret to be kept.
This line says it all. Our faith isn’t meant to be hidden and it’s meant to shine. Just like Jesus said in Matthew 5:14: “You are the light of the world.”
This song inspires me to live boldly for Him. And that’s why I think this should be one of the anthems for every believer.
So if you’re looking for worship music that’s both peaceful and powerful, this one’s for you.

Of course we need to be louder with our faith so that we do not get drowned out by the lie of the enemy of the gospel of the kingdom
