So this little gem of a podcast came into my life recently—and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
It’s called Creating With My Creator, and it’s the beautiful work of Melody Wang. I found it in a way that already says a lot about the community we’re part of.
You see, Paul Christopher—the founder of Salt and Light Daily—hosts this open chat where we’re all invited to share what we’re working on. It’s one of those rare, encouraging spaces online where people are genuinely rooting for each other.
I was scrolling through the replies, checking out what everyone had posted, and then I came across Melody’s link.
It stood out.
Something about the title, the tone—it just had that quiet magnetism. So I clicked through… and wow. What I found was something really special.
It’s not loud—but it’s deeply present
Melody’s voice isn’t trying to be the center of attention. It’s calm, steady, and full of heart. Listening to her podcast feels less like consuming content and more like stepping into a moment of stillness.
She shares original poetry, reflections, songs, and sometimes brings in other voices to speak into the creative and spiritual journey. But what really moved me was the way it’s all done with so much sincerity. No fluff, no posturing—just real, creative expression from someone who’s clearly grounded.
If you are enjoying this story and wish to bless me with a cup of coffee, feel free 👇🏾
A few standout moments:
Episode 2: “Emerging” – This one’s Melody sharing an original poem, and it hit me right where I’m at. It's about becoming, about the in-between. Simple, but powerful.
Episode 9: Guest David Burton – His spoken word carries weight and grace. One of those voices you want to sit with a little longer.
The vibe overall – It’s not overly edited or trying to sound “podcasty.” It feels like someone opening a window and letting fresh air into your day.
Why I think it’s worth your time-
Whether or not you identify as spiritual or creative—or both—this podcast holds space for reflection, connection, and inspiration. It reminded me that sometimes we don’t need more noise. We just need someone to speak softly and honestly into the deeper things we’re feeling.
I’m really glad I clicked that link. And I hope you do too.
So go check out Creating With My Creator by Melody Wang on Substack (or on YouTube or Spotify if that’s more your thing). Subscribe, comment, share—and if it resonates with you, I’d love to know which episode spoke to you the most.
Let’s keep lifting each other up in this space. There’s room for all of us.
