this is great Cathy! I love what you said about awe because that’s what true worship feels like. I struggle with worship the most because when I often sing it doesn’t feel like enough? It’s not until I’m in private that I can really scream, weep, and expressing what’s most pure. My new favorite song is Let the Alabaster Break/ Alabaster Box by Lizzie Morgan for that reason!

Thank you for reading dear 💞 🙏🏾 Autumn. Those are amazing songs. Lately I try to focus on songs that focus on Jesus, and not anything to do with us or how we feel, just His power and glory. Remembering always that Worship is about acknowledging God's greatness only.

Yes, I feel that deeply. True worship isn’t always about words, it’s that quiet yes our spirit gives when it meets His presence. Some songs carry that weight, like heaven touching earth, and all we can do is join in.

Have you ever been speechless during worship? Sigh! It's beautiful

Yes, I have. Sometimes I just find myself crying my heart out not from sadness, but from something deep inside that I can’t even explain. Just a quiet surrender, just trusting God. It’s beautiful and overwhelming at the same time.

Worship is an opportunity to empty out ourselves and let the Holy Spirit fill us up with the presence of God. We receive strength from His presence
